Mangaluru: It has been exactly one year since the shocking and sensational murder of prominent Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activist, Praveen Nettaru. Despite a year of relentless investigation, authorities are yet to apprehend only a few of the accused behind this crime.

Praveen Nettaru, a member of the BJP, was a rising star within the party’s ranks. With a reputation for being a vocal proponent of his party’s ideology, Nettaru was known for his charismatic personality and tireless efforts to mobilize support for the BJP’s agenda. His murder left his family, friends, and the entire political community in shock and grief.

On the fateful day, Praveen Nettaru had reportedly been brutally attacked by a group of people, leading to his untimely demise. The news sent shockwaves throughout the district, sparking widespread outrage and demands for justice.

In the immediate aftermath of the crime, law enforcement agencies launched a full-scale investigation. Later the case was handed to the NIA.

Though the NIA has arrested a couple of people in connection with the case, some of the main accused in the case are still at large and the case has proved to be an uphill battle for the authorities.

The murder of such a prominent BJP activist has not only devastated his family but also had political repercussions.

As the first anniversary of Praveen Nettaru’s murder passes, the call for justice continues to reverberate, and the hope for closure remains unyielding.
