Online character assassination of MP Nalin; Complaint filed

Kasaragod: A complaint has been filed with the district superintendent of police against a social website by P R Sunil, convener of the media division of BJP here. The complainant accuses a YouTube channel, ‘Republic Kerala’, of indulging in character assassination of Dakshina Kannada Member of Parliament, Nalin Kumar Kateel, and spreading unsubstantiated, malicious material about the Sangh Parivar outfits. The complaint also names Khader Karippody who is associated with the channel.

In his complaint, Mr Sunil alleges that the channel has been spreading hate news claiming that the organization and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel have been spearheading communal frictions, and also baseless claim that Nalin Kumar was behind the murder of Riyaz Moulavi and other things.

Mr Sunil further adds that the hannel has also given a call to the people to be ready to fight against Nalin Kumar and the Sangh Pariva.
