Only Rs 6 crore released for Parashurama Theme Park: MLA Sunil Kumar

Bengaluru: “Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has alleged a Rs. 11 crore scam in the Parashurama Theme Park project in Karkala, despite only Rs. 6 crore being released,” said MLA V. Sunil Kumar strongly criticizing CM’s statement. It is shameful for a Chief Minister to provide “false information” to the Assembly, he added.
In his statement, Sunil Kumar said that Congress leaders have been fabricating false stories about corruption in the Parashurama Theme Park for the past year. They do not want the truth to be revealed or tourism to develop. Their sole aim is to exploit these accusations for political gain. Every session, this government and Karkala Congress leaders engage in misinformation campaigns about the theme park.
In the previous session, Congress promised an investigation and even directed a CID probe. However, the investigation has not progressed. The High Court had directed the project to be completed within the deadline, but they used the election code of conduct as an excuse to evade it, he added.
