Tumakuru: Amid allegations that the BJP was allegedly attempting to poach MLAs of the coalition government in order to topple the government, BJP Yuva Morcha general secretary and son of senior BJP leader B S Yeddyurappa, B Y Vijayendra on Saturday claimed that these rumours were the handiwork of few Congress leaders who were conspiring against the incumbent chief minister.
Speaking to media persons, Vijayendra claimed that the disgruntled leaders of the Congress party are cleverly plotting Kumaraswamy’s ouster from the chief ministers’ post by resorting to diversionary politics and alleging Operation Lotus strategy by the BJP. “This is far from true. BJP is making no attempt to destabilise the present state government,” he said while adding that people would soon come to know who the real conspirators are.
Further, he mentioned that the state was currently seeing a Tughlaq rule where two people H D Kumaraswamy and his brother H D Revanna were pulling the strings. “The saffron party will protest against the failure of present state government during Belagavi session,” he said.
