Opposition slams PM Modi for watching light and sound show in Varanasi amid farmers protests; Call him “Nero”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his visit to Varanasi on Monday amid the farmers’ agitation.

PM Modi had tweeted a video of him enjoying light and sound show on the banks of river Ganga  and Opposition leaders called the Prime Minister “Nero”

Nero was the fifth Roman Emperor and was famously known for the apocryphal story that he fiddled while Rome burned in a great fire

However,  the tale is likely to be hyperbolic, because the word fiddle is not believed to have existed at the time and also Nero had returned to Rome and begun relief measures soon after the fire broke out.
