Mind-boggling challenges like optical illusions call for our brains, attention, and focus. Even though the majority of these problems are straightforward, there really are moments when they can be difficult. Here’s an exercise in a visual illusion.

View the illustration below. Do you see anything? The picture depicts an elderly man clutching onto what appears to be a stick. It appears that he is searching for something.

He’s searching for his wife, thus your job is to assist him in doing so. You have 11 seconds to complete the mission.

.

.

.

Doing so places you in the company of the wise.

.

.

.

How do you feel? Easy?

.

.

.

How is the hunt going for you?

.

.

.

Did you spot the wife, yet?

.

.

.

Here’s the first hint you need.

Clue 1: The man’s wife hasn’t moved very far.

.

.

.

Any chance? Try a little harder!

.

.

.

Perhaps you’ve figured out the solution, I’m sure. For those who are still puzzled, another hint is forthcoming.

.

.

.

Clue 2: something green

.

.

.

While it may appear to be a slightly odd hint, using both clues will help you get fairly close to the solution.

.

.

.

.

Here’s the solution to the puzzle

Congratulations to everyone who figured it out. Good luck to everyone else.
