Dharwad: BJP State President B.Y. Vijayendra has declared that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah must resign from his position. He asserted that the fight would continue until Siddaramaiah steps down.

Speaking to the press on Friday in the city, Vijayendra stated that the Congress government is mired in corruption, citing that the approval for various projects, including land allotment to Jindal and a tunnel project in Bengaluru worth around ₹30,000 crores to ₹40,000 crores, was given in haste.

Vijayendra criticized the Congress government, stating that no development work has been undertaken since Siddaramaiah became the Chief Minister. He alleged that the Congress came to power in the state only to serve as an ATM for the High Command, and their accusations have now been proven true.
