Kalaburagi: Devotees often place notes in temple donation boxes seeking blessings for health, career, and prosperity.

However, a shocking message written on a currency note was discovered in the donation box of the Bhagyanavathi Temple in Ghatarga village, Kalaburagi taluk.

Among the donations, a Rs 20 note carried a message that read, ‘Oh Mother! My mother-in-law must die soon’.

This unusual plea left temple authorities and devotees astonished during the routine counting of the offerings.
