Out-on-bail murder accused astrologer performs last rites of father; Rajeswari Shetty spotted at funeral

Udupi: Murder accused astrologer Niranjan Bhat, who has been released on interim bail conducted the last rites of his father on Thursday, June 25.

Niranjan, who has been languishing in prison in connection with Bhaskar Shetty murder case was granted conditional bail by the district court on execution of Rs 5 lakh bond and direction to surrender before the court on or before July 7.

Following his release, Niranjan arrived at his residence in Nandalike and later his father Srinivas Bhat mortal remains were taken to Karkala where the final rites was conducted.

Rajeswari Shetty, the main accused in the murder case was sighted at the funeral. As per reports, she arrived in a black car at Nandalike but did not alight from the car. She was accompanied by her bodyguards.
