Chintamani: More than 20 students had to be taken to the hospital after experiencing stomach pain after having the hostel breakfast.
These students lived in a hostel called K. Raguttahalli, which is in Ambajidurga Hobali Kotagal village. The hostel students had idli and sambar for breakfast, but soon after eating, they started feeling stomach pain, vomiting, and diarrhea. So, they were quickly taken to the hospital, however, all the students are safe.
Doctors think this might be a case of food poisoning.
The Taluk Magistrate Sudarshan Yadav and the District Health Officer visited the hostel. The idli sambar was made in the morning and sent to a lab for testing.
The Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) for the Chintamani area, Suwal Chowkse, also went to the hospital to talk to the students.
