New Delhi: Indian security agencies have listed as many as 50 Chinese mobile apps that pose a security threat to the nation.
The apps listed by the security agencies include Tik-Tok, Helo, UC Browser, Zoom among others.
According to a report submitted by security agencies, sensitive data which can pose a threat to our country is being sent to China through these apps.
These companies have however refuted all allegations of sending user data out of the country.
Meanwhile, a call to boycott Chinese goods has once again gained momentum following the violent face-off between Indian and Chinese troops at Ladakh’s Galwan Valley earlier in this week. As many as 20 Indian soldiers were killed in the confrontation.
