Pradhan gave the information in response to a written question about education during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The minister also detailed the initiatives taken by states like Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra towards this end. ”A comprehensive initiative called PM eVIDYA has been initiated as part of Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan on May 17, 2020, which unifies all efforts related to digital, online and on-air education to enable multi-mode access to education,” Pradhan said.
