Over Rs 3 lac stolen items recovered from interstate thieves

Udupi: A team of police personnel under the guidance of Udupi superintendent of police Nisha James arrested three interstate thieves and recovered over Rs 3 lakhs items from them.

Razak Aslam Mujavar (20), from Maharashtra; Rajasab Nayak (25), a Koppal resident and Deepak Prasad (25), from Bihar were arrested and confiscated Rs 22,000 in cash and 16 mobile phones valuing Rs three lakh among other things from their possession.

On November 5, the gang had targeted ‘Play Zone’, a shop located in Udupi and stolen mobile phones and cash worth Rs 8,34,990 wherafter police formed a team to nab them.
