Starting with the grand Chamundi Hill Agra Puja on October 3rd and culminating in the spectacular Jumbo Savari procession led by Abhimanyu on October 12th, the event attracted tourists not only from various parts of Karnataka but also from across the country and abroad. This influx of visitors has revitalized the tourism sector in the district.
Majority from Karnataka
An estimated 80% of the visitors hailed from various districts across the state, while 20% were from outside Karnataka and foreign countries. Between October 3rd and 8th, approximately 6 lakh tourists visited Mysuru, followed by an influx of 10 lakh tourists from October 9th to 13th.
