Oxfordcaps enters Bengaluru with 5,000 beds for students

Bengaluru: Oxfordcaps, which is into student housing, on Thursday said it has entered Bengaluru market with 5,000 beds and has tied up with IFIM Business School for providing accommodations.
Singapore-based Oxfordcaps has exclusively tied up with IFIM Business School and will provide best in class on and off campus international standard accommodation for students studying at the business school, the company said in a statement.
It will also cater to the students from other educational institutions in Bengaluru including Presidency University, Reva University, RV College of Engineering, MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Christ University and NMIMS.
Oxfordcaps provides a custom designed and standardised student Housing product with a full-stack model of services and amenities. At present, it has 15,000 beds across 12 cities.
“Bengaluru is a key market for us mainly because it is one of the most pivotal education hubs in the country, company’s co-founder and CEO Annu Talreja said.
“We will further expand our operations in Bengaluru from 5,000 to 30,000 beds in the next two years and reach out to more students who are looking for the best in class accommodations in the city,” Oxfordcaps COO Priyanka Gera said.
The company’s priority is to deliver the best possible experience for students at every price point, she added.
Oxfordcaps operates via three sub-brands and caters to students across price segments including Oxfordcaps Premium Residences, Oxfordcaps Student Residences and Oxfordcaps Dorms for the budget segment.
It offers fully-fitted out and custom designed residences with full-stack service model including Wi-Fi, laundry, meals, professional housekeeping and an array of events and activities focused on career development and lifestyle for its students.
