PA Hegde appointed additional SP for Udupi dist

Udupi: Parameshwara Anant Hegde, currently serving as the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) in Mangaluru City Crime (CCB) Division, has been appointed the Additional Superintendent of Police for Udupi district.

The appointment comes following a state government order to assign 2 Additional SP rank officers for each district.

Previously P. A. Hegde also served as sub-inspector in Bantwal and circle inspector in Mulki.

In the new role, P. A. Hegde will oversee the Crime and District Armed Reserve (DAR) departments while Additional Superintendent of Police S.T. Siddalingappa will oversee the Traffic and Law and Order (L&O) departments.
