A married couple, whose two-and-half-year-old baby passed away recently has reportedly gone missing since August 1.

On August 1, the couple Shifa Sheikh (25) and Riyaz (28) left home, situated at Nandikoor-Adve, stating they were going to Udupi. However, since then there has been no trace of them.

Notably, Riyaz’s phone has been switched off while Shifa left hers at the house itself, police informed.

As per reports, the duo had been in a relationship and tied the knot following the demise of Shifa’s parents when she was in the final year of BAMS.

They had a two-and-a-half-year-old baby who also passed away recently.

Padubidri police registered a case and are investigating the matter.
