Padubidri: Two drown while fishing, one rescued at Hejamady Beach

Padubidri: Three youths who ventured out to the sea for fishing were swept by the waves at Hejamady Beach. One among them was saved, while the other two tragically drowned.

The deceased have been identified as Aman (19) and Akshay (19).

The duo, along with Pavan, had set out for fishing when all three were swept away by the waves. As it was Ellamavasye (new moon), a large crowd had gathered near the shore. Unfortunately, while two lost their lives, one was rescued.

A case has been registered at Padubidri Police Station.
