Padupanambur: Two dead in hit-and-run case, car driver on the run

Padupanambur: Two people died in a hit-and-run case after a car crashed into a stationary lorry in Padupanambur on Wednesday, February 1.

The deceased have been identified as Babulu (23) Achal Singh (30) from Madhya Pradesh. Anish (42), from Kerala, has been injured.

It is said that the lorry was heading from Indore in Madhya Pradesh to Kerala on the Padupanamburu route when the wheel got punctured.

The three people in the lorry stepped down together to repair it, and while changing the tire, a car suddenly arrived from the Udupi side and hit them.

The driver is still on the run.
