Palestinian flag displayed during Eid Milad procession in Chikkodi

Belagavi: A Palestinian flag was waved during the Eid Milad procession in Chikkodi town on Friday, September 20, 2024. Police immediately seized it.

A group of young participants in the procession were seen waving the Palestinian flag while dancing and celebrating on the streets of the town. The Eid Milad procession was taking place on the town’s main roads when the flag was noticed by law enforcement. The police promptly confiscated the flag and are currently investigating the matter.

Due to Ganesh Visarjan coinciding with Eid Milad, the procession in Chikkodi had been postponed and was held on Friday. A case has been registered at the Chikkodi police station regarding the incident.
