Palimar Swamiji’s disciple ordained into Krishna Mutt service

Udupi: As far as lineage of Swamijis of Palimar Mutt is concerned, the Mutt head, Sri Vidyadheeshateertha Swamiji has accepted the as his heir the disciple of Palimar Mutt who was admitted into ascetism by the Swamiji of Palimar Mutt on May 10. The acceptance event was held at 12.20 pm on Sunday May 12.

The newly introduced junior Swamiji of Palimar Mutt was named ‘Vidyarajeshwarateertha’ by Palimar Swamiji and he will be the 32nd Swamiji in the illustrious line of Swamijis of Palimar Mutt. The spiritual journey of the junior Palimar Swamiji has begun with the coronation and henceforth it will be guided by devotion to Lord Krishna and the Dwaita philosophy.

Numerous Swamijis were present on the occasion including Sri Vishweshateertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math, Krishnapur Math head, Sri Vidyasagarateertha, Admar Sri Vishwapriyateertha Swamiji, Pejawar junior Sri Vishwaprasannateertha Swamiji, Kaniyoor Sri Vishwavallabhateertha Swamiji, Bheemanakatte Sri Raghuvarendrteertha Swamiji, and Admar junior Sri Eshapriyateertha Swamiji.

Scholar Subrahmanya Bhat Guindibail, guided the religious procedures connected with this programme. Paryaya Math Diwan, Vedayavyas Tantry, Kamblakatta Surendra Upadhyaya and others were also present during the event.
