‘Pammanne the Great’ Tulu movie releases tomorrow

Mangaluru: ‘Pammanne the Great’ Tulu movie created under the Shree and Ram Creations banner will be released throughout karavali on August 24th. The movie produced by Krishna Nayak Karkala and Virendra Suvarna Kateel and directed cum produced by Ismail Moodushedde will see release in 15 theaters in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kasaragod.
On Monday, movie director Ismail Moodushedde spoke at the press meet and said that ‘Pammanne’ movie has been created in a new style keeping in mind the story of Netravathi River, which is the lifeline of Tulunadu. For the first time, renowned actor Arvind Bolar will be seen portraying as the protagonist of the movie. Along with comedy, Bolar will also be leading the story and thereby be portraying a new form of acting from him, the director explained.
The release programme of the movie will be held at Radhika Theater in Karkala on August 24th. This movie is going to be the 96th Tulu movie. The movie cast includes Prathvi Ambar, Shilpa Suvarna, Ramesh Pandit, Master Danvit Suvarna Kateel, Satish Bandale, Pran Shetty, Deepak Rai Panaji, Prakash Tuminad and many other artists. Education expert S. Ganesh Rao will be seen in a special role in the movie. The music is by S.P. Chandrakant, cinematography by R.K. Mangaluru and editing is by Sujit Nayak. The evergreen Tulu song ‘Mokeda Singari’ by Sitaram Kulal has been used in the movie suiting the current trend. Poet Krishnadas, Suresh R.S. have penned the lyrics, he informed.
