Panambur Police arrest six including foreign national for drug trafficking

Mangaluru: Panambur Police arrested six individuals, including a foreign national, for trafficking and selling drugs.

The arrests were made on information that two individuals on a scooter were dealing drugs on the KIOCL-Tannirbavi route in the Panambur Police Station area.

The suspects, identified as Chandan, Sharath, Madhusudhan Konchadi, Dhanush Akashabhavana, Mukesh Derebail, and Nigerian national Michael B A J, were found in possession of 11 grams of cocaine, 30 grams of MDMA, nine mobile phones, and a scooter.

The accused, who worked as caterers, painters, and in other private jobs, allegedly turned to drug trafficking to earn quick money. They were remanded to judicial custody following their arrest by the Panambur Police.
