Bengaluru: The police have arrested three accused including wife for murdering Narasimhamurthy, a panipuri vendor in Kurubarahalli of Mahalakshmi Layout on February 22.
The accused have been identified as Narasimhamurthy’s wife Anitha and her paramour Roshan. Roshan, a native of Mysuru, carried out the murder with his friend Somaraju (27) from Chamrajnagar. On February 22, Narasimhamurthy was found dead in his house. His wife informed the neighbour that three unidentified men barged into their house in midnight and hacked her husband to death. She also added that they sprayed sedative on her face and made her unconscious.
The police were informed and Anitha told the police that her husband’s body was wrapped in a blanket and slipped under the bed when she woke up.
However, the police grew suspicious after observing Anitha’s movements. They traced her call records and discovered that she was having an extra marital affair with Roshan. The police enquired them and both confessed of committing the crime.
