Parents assaulted: Complaint against son

Udupi: in a bizarre incident, a case has been registered at Manipal police station based on a complaint from a couple that they were assaulted by their son.

In his complaint to the police Mabu Shetty of Perampalli Bhandary house states, “Our son Prajot Shetty assaulted me and my wife.”

‘On the evening of April 14^th, Prajot Shetty returned home drunk and abused with foul language. He then assaulted us with a stick. Later, when he decided to attack us with a knife, neighbours rushed in an prevented it. That is when I injured my finger,” informs Mabu shetty in his complaint.

Mabu Shetty has been admitted at Ajjarakadu where he is receiving treatment for the injuries he suffered during the assault.
