On Monday, former MP Jayaprakash Hegde personally visited the ministry, contacted the passport office and got their passports renewed. VISA too was provided on Monday evening itself.
According to sources, early on Wednesday morning, Smitha’s father, mother and Prashanth’s mother left for Germany from Chennai.
It had been decided that Prashanth’s mother would be accompanied by his friend Ganesh Byndoor on her way to Germany. But due to personal reasons it became impossible for him to accompany her. Presently, only the three of them are going. There is no further information regarding the health condition of Smitha.
