Party worker tries to attack Vasant Kumar Bangera

Beltangady: A man apparently drunk, misbehaved with local MLA, K Vasant Bangera here on Monday.
The person has been identified as, Venkappa Kotian a party worker, who allegedly wanted to speak to the MLA about new pump set.
It has been reported that, Kotian who wanted to talk to the MLA was sent out for speaking ill of a party worker.
When Kotian kept bothering MLA that he had to discuss something important, the MLA asked him to wait, Kotian lost his temper and started abusing at him.
When the MLA proceeded towards his house, the person intercepted the MLA. The people tried to calm him down but he tried to assault the people. Angered by his behaviour, the people taught him a lesson. The MLA told them not to indulge in such things, and that the person would have spoken ill in a drunken state. He also asked the police not to register any case relating to this incident.
