Paryaya: Devotees at Kaup hold Tulabhara for Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji

The seer of Sri Puthige Matha and the Bhavi Paryaya head of Udupi Sri Krishna Matha, Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji, graced the Mahatobhara Kapu Sri Lakshmi Janardana temple on Sunday.

The revered seer, on his visit to Sri Janardana temple, received a warm welcome from devoted followers hailing from various areas of Kapu. The ceremonial Mahamangalarati and pada pooja marked the auspicious beginning of the visit.

Later a traditional Tulabhara ritual was performed using coins, grains, and rice by the temple’s principal Tantri Jyotishya Vidwan KP Srinivasa Tantri and devotees.

Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji, in his address, emphasized the inseparable connection between Udupi and Kapu, acknowledging the substantial support from devotees of the Kapu region each year. He blessed the gathering, highlighting the enduring bond between the two places.
