Seer of Sri Puthige Math Sri Sugunendratheertha Sripada, accompanied by his devoted disciple Sri Susrindratheertha Sripada, are all set to conduct the Chaturtha Muhurta of Chaturtha Srikrishna Pooja, also known as “Dhanya Muhurta,” at Sri Puthige Math.
The sacred ritual is slated to commence on December 6 at 8:20 am, enveloping the surroundings with divine vibrations and religious fervor. Devotees and followers eagerly anticipate the auspicious event that promises to be a spiritually enriching experience.
Notably, Dr. Veerendra Heggade of Dharmadhikari of Kshetra Dharmasthala, the esteemed Honorary Chairman of the Welcome Committee, is expected to grace the occasion with his presence, adding a distinguished touch to the proceedings.
The biennial paryaya marks the transfer of responsibilities of managing the mutt-cum-temple, and exclusive right to worship lord Krishna, from one mutt to another, among the ashta (eight) mutts in Udupi. The next ‘paryaya’ is scheduled on January 18, 2024.
