Kasargod: “Pass is not mandatory for daily travel from the district to Karnataka”, said, DC Dr Sajith Babu
In a district-level corona advisory committee held on Wednesday via video conference Sajith Babu said, “Henceforth, no need of daily pass, passengers will only have to carry a negative certificate of Antigen test and registration done in Covid-19 portal”
He further said,“ All arrangements have been made at the Talapady checkpost and the details of the passengers will be entered in a Google spreadsheet. Passengers can travel to Dakshina Kannada through NH66, Talapady, Panathoor, Manimoole, Perla, Jalsoor and other important roads.”
“Passengers arriving from Karnataka via Panathoor, Manimoole, Perla, Jalsoor roads to gram panchayat limits are not required to register. Also, the respective gram panchayats will be authorized to determine whether they can travel to other places” he added
