Pass not required for inter-district movement, clarifies DGP Praveen Sood

Bengaluru: Karnataka Director-General of Police (DGP) Praveen Sood said on Wednesday clarified that pass is not required for inter-district movement.
Taking to Twitter he wrote, “Pass is not required for inter-district movement now. However, keep your travel to bare essential. And don’t forget the lockdown between 7 pm and 7 am”
On Tuesday, May 19 check post officials in Udupi district had denied permission for people from Mangluru from entering Udupi district citing that without a valid pass they won’t be permitted.
