Kaniyur: A case has come to light wherein a girl student who had attempted SSLC exams had failed due to the mistake by the examiner.

Kaniyur Pragati English Medium Student Anushri S had scored 498 marks in the exam. It was published that she had scored 19 marks in science.

However, her guardians grew suspicious and procured a cyclostat copy of the answer paper only to find that the student had scored 56 marks in the subject. But the number of her answer booklet was 19. Hence it is possible that 19 was marker as her score.

Mistake while totaling answer paper marks as well

When the marks give for the answers in the answer paper were totaled, it came to 62. The examiner had committed a mistake her as well. There is a possibility that several students marks might have been cut due to such mistakes, say the guardians of the students. Because of this mistaken result, Kaniyur Pragati English Medium School lost 100% result for the continuous 17th time.
