Passenger held at M’luru airport for smuggling Rs 36L gold by hiding it in rectum

Custom officials at Mangaluru International Airport seized 706 grams of gold from a passenger on Friday, March 18.
The passenger arriving from Dubai attempted to smuggle gold in paste form by concealing it in his rectum. On extraction, 706 grams of 24-carat gold was recovered.
