Odisha: Pictures and videos of patients lying naked on floor of a COVID-19 hospital in Mayurbanj, Odisha district have surfaced online.

In the videos and photos, some patients are seen lying on beds and floor of the hospital with little or no cloth on them while none to attend them.

An attendant of a patient who died in the hospital claimed that there were no nurses and doctors to attend to the patients and that there were a few oxygen cylinders but there was no one to operate them.

Several allege that patients are dying only because of medical negligence and gross mismanagement in Covid hospital.

However, Mayurbhanj district collector Vineet Bhardwaj said efforts are on to install CCTVs in the hospital to monitor the activities.
