Dharwad: Popular journalist Patil Puttappa also known as Papu, threatened to cut the supply of essential commodities to Goa if any derogatory statements are made about Kannadigas by the leaders of Goa.

On Tuesday, Puttappa told at a press conference that leaders from Goa need to learn how to maintain dignity and not make any immature remarks. He also mentioned that Goa is dependent on Karnataka for many essential commodities like grains and milk. Regardless of all that, Goan leaders make absurd comments against Kannadigas which is intolerable in any manner. He also warned that in future the supply to commodities to Goa will be stopped if Kannadigas are insulted by the Goan leaders in any way.

Puttappa also demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has to look into the matter and bring a solution to the Mahadayi water dispute.
