Bengaluru: Home Minister Araga Jnanendra said that patrols will be stepped up at Chamundi Hills and more security will be provided after 7 pm.
Talking to reporters here, he said, “the victim is still in shock and hence unable to give a statement. It was very challenging for the police however they managed to trace them using technology. We are persuading the family members of the victim to make a statement.”
“This is an inhuman act. There was a lot of concern after this incident. We were confident that the case would be solved. The police through their investigation gave a message that there was no escape for the criminals,” he said.
