Pavanje: Corpse of the elderly man found

Haleyangadi: The corpse of the elderly man who jumped into Nadini River from Pavanje bridge has found and fished out on Friday April 5th.

Harish alias Prakash Poojary (65), a resident of Honnakatte near Hosabettu was suffering from a serious ailment and therefore committed suicide by jumping into the river, reported his son Rakesh based on which a case has been registered with Mulki police station.

Haleyangadi GP member Chandrakumar Sasihitlu and others including Addi Bolluru, Tejpal Suvarna, Jaya Kotiyan fished out the corpse from the river with the help of a boat. The corpse was shifted to Karnad Primary Health Centre for autopsy post which the police continued their investigation.
