Pedestrian injured in road accident in Bantwal

Bantwal: A pedestrian was seriously injured after a grinding machine struck him as he was walking by in Melkar, Bantwal on October 21.

The victim is identified as Padmanabha Shenoy from Bolangadi.

The grinding machine, operated by a contractor company responsible for road construction, was being operated by driver Rajkumar Yadav.

Following the incident, Padmanabha was rushed to a private hospital in Mangaluru for medical attention. His relative Guruprasad filed a complaint at the Bantwal traffic police station regarding the incident.
