People express anger as RBI refuses to accept old notes in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Peopled showed their anger as Reserve Bank of India (RBI) branch in Bengaluru refused to accept banned currency notes in the denomination of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 for exchange with the new currency notes. On Monday morning huge number of people were arrived at RBI branch to exchange their banned currency notes with the new notes.
The customers alleged that RBI had already issued notification that it would accept old notes till March 31. However, now it is cheating the citizens by not accepting the old currency notes, they said showing their disappointment on the issue.
