People in North Eastern Parts of Bengaluru Face Drinking Water Shortage

Bengaluru: City residents in North-eastern parts of Bengaluru have been suffering from severe drinking water shortage since Sunday early morning amid heavy rainfall activities. Water shortage has been occurred after water leaked from the pipelines supplying water to the north east region of the city. The repair works of the pipelines are expected to complete by evening hours of September 11, today.
Heavy rainfall activities reportedly caused for blockade in water pipelines of the city also as mud and other waste items struck in the pipelines. Following heavy water leakage from the pipelines, BBMP stopped supplying water to HSR layout, Rajajinagar, RR Nagar, JP Nagar and other parts of the city.
