People’s love is my asset: Dr Hegde

Belthangady: “The Hegde position has been provided due to the blessings of Shri Manjunatha Swami and as fruit of good work. We are serving the people through all the opportunities. The love shown by all the people is my asset,” said Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala’s DharmadhikariD Veerendra Hegde.
He was speaking addressing the devotees who had done a padayatra from Ujjire to Dharmasthala on the first day of Dharmasthala Lakshadeepotsava on Sunday.
One should not hesitate to serve people. Accordingly, I have done new experiments in all the areas and it has been supported by the staff and family. People have accepted it. All these plans must be first established in Belthangady, and now the taluk has moved forward in a way that makes everyone envious, he said.
Working together by going beyond the lines of cast and religion is a sign of success. Due to the faith on the kshetra, people from all levels are coming forward to give their service in different ways to Shri Manjunatha.
The padayatra which commenced from Ujjire included more than 10,000 devotees.
State level exhibition inaugurated
On the occasion of lakshadeepotsava, Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Hegde inaugurated a state level exhibition at the premises of the high school on Sunday.
The exhibition includes stalls from various government departments including horticulture, commercial, industrial, business and over 300 rural small scale industries. The entry I free.
Hosakatte Utsava was conducted on the occasion of lakshadeepotsava, on Sunday. On the first day itself, the presence of devotes was in huge numbers.
