Petrol tanker overturns at Giriyapura, raging fire engulfs

Chickmagalur: A petroleum tanker burst into flames after it toppled near Giriyapura in Kadur taluk on the evening of June 19. 

Allegedly, the vehicle toppled after its driver lost control of the vehicle. Soon, a large fire engulfed the tanker and the nearby areas.

At the point when reports last came in, the fire had spread to no less than 100 meters zone from the spot. Five houses close to the mishap spot likewise caught fire, asserted sources. 

Fire and emergency service personnel rushed to the spot scene and attempting to douse the inferno. No death have been accounted for so far. More information awaited.
