Belthangady: PFI leader Haider Neersal dies of heart attack

Beltangady: Popular Front of India (PFI) leader Haider Neersal died of a heart attack on Wednesday, June 22 morning. He was 55.

He was running the government CSC online center in Belthangady.

He was admitted to hospital in Mangaluru on June 21 after he suffered a heart attack when we getting ready to attend a function.

He, however, passed away on Wednesday after he stopped responding to the treatment.

His last rites will be held today at a mosque in Ujire.

Condoling his death, State President of Popular Front of India Karnataka, Nasir Pasha said “Haider Neersal, an early member of PFI, has passed away today. Despite his illness, his life was devoted to organizational and social activities. He was a hardworking, exemplary leader. His departure is an irreparable loss to the community. May Allah accept his good deeds.”
