Pharmacy employee shot at in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad: A 25-year-old man was today hospitalised after he was shot at by three bike-borne assailants outside a pharmacy in Sahibabad here, police said today. The incident occurred around 4 pm in Lajpat nagar area Sahibabad, leaving locals panicked, they said.
The injured man, identified as Babloo Thakur, worked at the pharmacy. The assailants reached there and asked him about the shop owner, Hemant Tyagi, who was not there at the time, a police officer said.
While leaving, the assailants opened fire at Thakur, with five bullets hitting him on the leg. He has been hospitalised and further probe was underway, Assistant Superintendent of Police Anoop Singh said.
