Photo with VIP:  Gunman suspended

Magaluru: Mallikarjuna, the gunman of BJP Minorities Morcha leader Rahim Uchil has been suspended as per the order passed by Mangaluru Police Commissioner T.R. Suresh.

The gunman was suspended after he posed for a photo with Rahim Uchil and further took a selfie which was later uploaded on Facebook by Rahim. It is learnt that it is against the rules of a gunman to take a photo in this fashion and that the gunman is also facing allegation of going on leave without apply for a leave and without intimation.

According to sources, on June 23rd, the gunman Mallikarjuna posed with Rahim Uchil while the latter was leaving for Dubai. He later submitted his to the armed reserve force and left for his hometown without applying for leave.

On March 15th, 2012, an attempt was made on Rahim Uchil’s life when he was the Beary Academy chief and as a precaution, Mangaluru Police Commissionerate provided gunman security to him.
