Have you been planning a trip to India’s party capital? Well a slight miscommunication between two drivers of Kerala State RTC ended up with pilgrims on a tour to Kollur landing at Goa beach. Yes, you heard it right!
The incident took place on May 15 when the Kollur-bound pilgrims had boarded a bus from Thiruvananthapuram for the religious destination. Once the bus reached Ernakulam, another driver resumed duty. On reaching Kunadpur via Managluru, the bus should have taken a right turn to reach Kollur but the driver kept driving on the national highway.
The next day morning when the passengers alighted from the bus they were shocked to know that they had landed in Goa instead of Kollur. They took the driver to task for bringing them to the wrong destination. He however tried to escape their wrath by saying that there was an error with Google Maps.
Later the passengers were taken to Kollur.
