India is famous for tourism, food, culture, and the diversity we have in terms of places and geographical locations, and culture. But did you know that there are places in India that are similar to foreign destinations?

Below is the list of such mesmerizing destinations:

Tulips in Srinagar and Amsterdam

When compared to Tulips in Amsterdam, the ones in Srinagar are no less in beauty. In fact, Kashmir even has Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden. The Tulip Festival takes place in Srinagar in the beginning of the spring season when tulips bloom.

The Gurudongmar Lake in Sikkim And Jökulsárlón Lake In Iceland

Gurudongmar Lake in Sikkim is one of the highest lakes in the world and is named after the Guru Padmasambhava.  Situated at an altitude of 5430 m and is considered one of the most sacred places in Sikkim. This is similar to Jökulsárlón Lake In Iceland. Thousands of people are drawn to Jökulsárlón all year round to watch the free-flowing icebergs, explore the lagoon on boat tours, and even frequently snap a picture of a seal.

Gulmarg in Kashmir and Switzerland

Switzerland, the most visited honeymoon destination is famous for winter sports like skiing and ropeway rides. Gulmarg too offers similar activities and has an equal scenic view that Switzerland provides.

Andaman and Nicobar Island, India And Phi Phi Islands, Thailand

These are the very similar-looking places that one must add to one bucket list. Andaman Nicobar, known for its adventurous activities such as scuba diving, is best for those looking for some peace and tranquility. Phi Phi Islands in Thailand offer the same scenic view and range of activities.
