Bidar: Minister for Animal Husbandry Prabhu Chauhan stated that plans to build two gaushalas for every taluk in the State to protect cows are under discussion.
Speaking in a news conference on Saturday, he said there are currently 164 government and private gaushalas in the State. In view of the anti-cow slaughter ordinanace being implemented in the State there is a need to increase the number of gaushalas to facilitate the preservation and protection of cows.
