Plot to Kidnap Vinay Made at BSY’s Residence in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: According to the reports, in a new twist to Vinay’s kidnap and assault case, Bengaluru police have obtained information which stated a plot to kidnap the victim was made at the residence of Karnataka state BJP president BS Yeddyurappa (BSY) in Bengaluru on January 12.

Vinay is a personnel assistant (PA) to Karnataka state BJP leader KS Eshwarappa and was allegedly kidnapped and assaulted recently by a gang allegedly sent by Santhosh, PA to BSY.

Rowdy-sheeter, one of the accused in the case, Prashanth has reportedly admitted before the investigators that, Santhosh, state BJP Yuva Morcha leader Rajendra Urs and others were invited them to the residence of BSY and handed over some photographs of Vinay to kidnap him immediately.

The kidnappers hadn’t given any information about Vinay instead they were given some of his photographs and asked to grab his cell phone, laptop and tablet computer to get a secret video from the gadgets. When the accused asked Santhosh for cash, he and his team assured them, BJP could win next state assembly elections and once it comes into power, their names will be removed from rowdy-sheet. The police are yet to confirm whether BSY had any information on kidnap and assault case or not.

As asked by Santhosh, Rajendra Urs had brought notorious rowdies including Prashanth, Indresh and Abhishekh to the residence of BSY and ordered to kidnap Vinay without revealing his identify, status back ground and others. As per the instructions, the accused kidnapped and assaulted the victim in Bengaluru.

The investigators have obtained a video taken by the accused on January 12 at the residence of BSY and the police have treated it as a major evidence for the statements of the accused. Meanwhile, the investigators are yet gather information on the video stored in one of the gadgets of Vinay which forced Santhosh and others to kidnap him to destroy it.
