Plot to murder three Pro Hindutva leaders?

Mangaluru: There is information that miscreants have plotted to murder RSS senior leader Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat along with three other Pro Hindutva leaders and hence, the leaders have taken steps regarding their security.

 As per sources, in accordance with the information from the central intelligence department, the police have taken necessary precautions. But the Mangaluru police have refused to confirm on this.

On Thursday, VHP leader Sharan Pumpwell received a call from the police stating, “Do not go anywhere; be on high alert. Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat too must not stay here for 2-3 days. VHP leader Jagadish Shenava must stay careful, “was the information given during the call post which many developments have taken place.

It is said that, Dr Bhat who was supposed to travel by car to Bengaluru was escorted by the police to the airport. It is come to knowledge that from there, he has been sent to a safe area. It is also being said that Jagadish Shenava and Sharan Pumpwell have left for safe areas.

Dr Bhat and Mr Shenava have a gunman each and when they are travelling in the open, they are escorted by the police. Only Sharan Pumpwell does not have the protection of a gunman.

It is being stated that there is a plot to kill pro Hindutva leaders from Kerala an along the coast on the state through a suicide attack.

“We have noticed the media report on the plot, but we have received n information regarding the possible attempt to murder,” said Hanumanthraya, DCP

“Noticing the already existing gunman protection to Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat, someone must have informed the media,” observes Laxmi Prasad, SP

“The police have informed me of the life threat that I have. Yes, in this backdrop care has been taken. I had the protection of five gunmen and I still have it now,” informed Dr Prabhakar Bhat
